July Meeting at Memphis Nites: Be Careful What You Pray for by Kimberla Lawson Roby

The WHM Book Club meeting was a fun success once again. We had a ball discussing the book as Curtis Blacks daughter Alicia pretty much took a central role in this book. It was good to sort of see how Curtis' influence affected everyone else. I cant wait to see what happens next...Also, Author Summer Owens talked about her book "Life After Birth". 

She also shared her true story behind her reason for writing the book in hopes that she will be able to help others through her organization, "So What!". You can keep up with Summer at her website www.summerowens.com. 

It turned out to be a really good idea to expand and explore other parts of town for the July Book Club Meeting. Memphis Nites turned out to be a really nice spot. So nice that we are going back East for the August meeting. We will be at Memphis Nites again on Saturday August 17th from 4-6pm. The selection will be Kim Roby's "Love. Honor & Betray".
