Thank you for your interest in supporting the What’s Happening Myron Book Club! Are you a business owner looking to reach new clients? Let us help! The What’s Happening Myron Book Club has nearly 200 made up of primarily African American females, 35-55 years of age.

They are the head of their households, make all of the financial decisions and spend a large amount of their disposable income on entertainment, fashion and travel. They follow Myron Mays through his various media outlets; radio, television, print, web and social media. They are employed within a professional capacity and have an average of 2 children. Many of them have a bachelor’s degree with a large portion having at least some college. The majority of this demo spends an average of two hours per day collectively on Facebook and gets most of their news and information from the web. Their music choice is primarily the Urban Adult Contemporary format.

Each month, the book club members meet at a local establishment to discuss the “featured book” for the month. Although the selections are primarily national authors, the book club does spotlight a “local” author each month that attends and speaks to the group regarding their book and background.
