December Meeting at The Grindz: "The Family Business 2" by Carl Weber

What a great way to wrap up the year by setting the foundation for 2014. The first meeting at our new spot, The Grindz was a lot of fun. The vibe and atmosphere were great as well. And yes, the drinks were great as well.

I look forward to hanging out at The Grindz as this will be the new spot going forward. We wrapped up the year by finishing off the second installment of The Family Business by Carl Webber. The Duncan Family members are nothing to play with. I’m looking forward to the TV series which should kick off in the near future. Also, The Family Business 3 should be released sometimes during the Summer of 2014. We will be sure to revisit them when they return.

This January we kick off the New Year with “The Twelve Tribes of Hattie” by Ayana Mathis. The local featured author will be Miriam Cauley. She will discuss her book, “Through the Eyes of Mine”. The next meeting will be on January 18^th at The Grindz in Cordova of course. The address is 8195 Dexter Rd #104. In the meantime be sure to join the Facebook Group page.
