February Meet Up Recap: Corey P. Smith

February was the month of love, however, that did not reflect any of our reading selection. Our Featured Selection was “Fly on the Wall” by Trista Russell…another great selection thanks to our book club president, Ms. Damika Earley.

Our Local Featured Author was Corey P. Smith, author of the book, “Conspiracy of Credit”. Corey shared information of how credit is used to keep consumers in debt and how you can protect yourself. Corey told his own story of his rise and fall when it came to building and maintaining his credit. It was an interesting change of events to have a guy author featured this time.

Next month, our Featured Selection will be “The Family Business” by Carl Weber and our Local Featured Author will be Ms. Marie Flowers. We will get to hear her story as she discusses her book, “It’s All About Me”.
