March Meet Up Recap: Marie Flowers

As usual, the book club delivered a great time as we welcomed Marie Flowers as our Local Featured Author. She not only spoke about her book, “It’s All About Me”, she also shared her story of how she was in an abusive relationship and how she was able to remove herself from it. She is not in the process of publishing another book and helps young women in the Memphis area who are in the same situation she was in but is now looking for a way out.

Our featured selection was “The Family Business 3” by Carl Weber. It was kind fun picking back up on the story of the notorious Duncan family…and yes they are still off the chain. Just a little more this time.

Be sure to join us on Saturday April 18th as we make it happen another year. It’s the 4th year anniversary of the What’s Happening Myron Book Club. Our featured selection is Between the Sheets by Cairo and our local featured author will be Isaac Jones, he will talk about his book, “The Hand I was Dealt”. More details are on the way!
